Jana Kramer bio

Actor and country-pop singer and songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the team of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were included in episodes of One Tree Hill which helped propel her debut album in 2012 to in the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, the follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, Television films, and other singles not from the album. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love the music of country. Then she decided to pursue a record career. Her first role acting in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still a teenager. Following a couple of guest appearances on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 in the role of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 as well as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre I Won't Give Up. It was later included on Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in 2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Focusing on her music career following that, and not resigning from acting she appeared in films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer launched her second studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. I Got the Boy - an album that was a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made her album make it to the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months during the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary smash featuring Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
