Andree Martinez

Andree grew up living in El Paso Texas. From a family of entertainers. As a young girl growing up, she was around TV show hosts such as her sister, Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! (1997)) and family musicians and performers. Andrew Martinez is the vice head of Safety Security as well as business Resiliency of Southern California Edison, one of America's biggest electric utilities. He is responsible for the company's programs and activities that focus on safety of workers, corporate security and business resiliency which are key issues for SCE. Martinez gives safety executives across the company the support in the form of mentorship and programs that are effective to successfully achieve their work goal of safety for their group. Martinez's previous position was that of Director of Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. Prior to that he served as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. Over the course of his thirty years with SCE Martinez has held several management positions in corrective actions as well as performance improvement programmes, such as roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees and the public from hazards.
