Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food is a way to enter her mind. Curiosity grew in her after she moved from her home in the Long Island suburbs to explore the vast cultural diversity in Los Angeles. Carnitas, Cavatelli and different dishes are all available within a menu. This is a constantly evolving taste. All of her dishes are filled with her unique vision for the future, as well as reminiscing on the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso created in 2013 was well-received since it was in the spirit of her Italian tradition. Lofaso's interpretation of classic Italian dishes is among the most sought-after restaurants in Los Angeles. Patrons have described Scopa as an indispensable neighborhood staple where Lofaso consistently serves food that is inviting genuine and incredibly satisfying. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary with sophisticated cooking techniques. However, she did not fear taking extraordinary chances to honor her own instincts. She worked with a variety of celebrities and rose rapidly through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. The home of Lofaso was located within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso was able to enjoy the freedom to be creative that she wanted through the collaboration. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, that's the intention. You might start with dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Following that is the Korean wing and finally the meatballs course. Antonia's distinctive flavors form the foundation of these bold combination. Lofaso assessed her success in the field in part by her ability to both understand and be real to her viewers. Her memorable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her individuality outside the kitchen and her talents continue to shine in front of the camera, as an expert panelist on CNBC's Restaurant Startup as well as in recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has teamed up in partnership with Penguin Publishing to produce The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In this book, she shares her experiences as a mother and a participant in her school, the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso says that her passion to cook is the main factor behind her success. She continues to be at the forefront of her field by keeping an eye on trends and fashion. She is transforming the style by redefining chef's attire to be functional and stylish with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso believes that sticking to your vision is important. To accomplish her goals, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. It will allow clients to receive a truly personal service.
